Played this over two nights with my partner and we kept the suspect board up until the very end, that escaped convict angle is a clever red herring. The housekeeper's perspective makes the investigation feel personal rather than just procedural. Even after we finished we went back to check the clues
The suspects list kept us second-guessing until the very end, and the motel setting with Veronica as the lead made it feel like a real whodunit. The way the clues tied back to the escaped convict was clever without being unfair. We finished it in one sitting, totally hooked.
Took us two evenings to finish, and the story with Veronica and the escaped convict kept us guessing right up to the last card. The clue cards were well-written, though we did have to reread one a couple times. Great value for a game night with friends.
