After reporting on her town’s mayoral election, journalist Ashley Mendoza is found dead. Help her friend Frannie investigate Ashley’s death and expose her murderer.
The twist at the end genuinely caught me off guard, and the way Frannie pieces together the clues keeps you hooked without feeling forced. I finished it in two sittings, which says a lot for a box set.
As a journalist myself, I appreciated how the story didn't skimp on the details of Ashley's investigation—it felt authentic. The pacing kept me guessing until the final reveal, and the whole mystery unfolded in one satisfying evening.
I played through this in one sitting, the way the game weaves Frannie’s friendship with Ashley into the investigation made me actually care about every clue I found. The mayoral election backdrop adds a nice layer of suspicion that kept me guessing until the final reveal.
